Context

Sometimes you just want to make something without a client, specific target audience or because you are getting paid. Sometimes you just want to design for fun. With this personal project I created an identity for the student flat I moved into. We are a close flatmates who spend a lot of time together and we wanted to show our common interests which represent our values. I inserted elements from the town and region identity we live in alongside things that connect us as flatmates (playing games, nurturing plants and drinking beer and coffee). I finished it off by trying to make it look like a high class student association with a dynamic shield on which the elements are displayed.

We ordered some hoodies and T-shirts and proudly present them when leaving the house. It doesn't always matter for whom you create. It matters if you, as a designer, like your work or not.
